A mechanic for your cycling camp on the Costa Blanca.
Coming with a cycling club, a triathlon team or a group of friends? You don’t need to bring a mechanic from home. I build your bikes when you arrive, look after them all week, come out to you when something breaks on a ride, and pack them before you fly home.

A week with a mechanic
From arrival to departure.
- Before you land
You send me a list of bikes, your dates and the address. Anyone who wants can send their saddle height and bar position, so the bike is set up for them from the start.
- Arrival day
I build every bike from its box or case and do a Ride Check: tyre pressure, brakes, gears, chain, bolts and tyres.
- During the week
Twice a week I come to the villa at an agreed time, usually after your ride, and check every bike. While you are out riding, I’m on the phone from 8:00 to 18:00.
- Before you fly
I clean drivetrains and tyres without water, take the bikes apart, protect derailleurs and rotors, and pack everything for the flight.
In one trip I can take one bike and one or two people. If several riders break down at once, I make several trips or we work out another solution.
Price and terms
35 € per rider per week.
For 4–12 riders at one address. Each extra day is +5 € per rider.
Included
- A Ride Check of every bike on day one.
- 2 villa visits: tyre pressure, chain lube, gear and brake adjustment, and a check of pads, tyres and bolts. Up to about 10 minutes of work per bike.
- One roadside call-out per rider. It is personal and can’t be passed to someone else. Several riders in the same place count as one call-out.
- WhatsApp and phone for the whole group, every day, 8:00–18:00.
- Travel for visits in zone 1.
Paid separately
- Assembly after arrival: from 45 € per bike. Packing before departure: from 45 € per bike. Both: from 80 € per bike. Most road bikes are covered by the base price. Bikes that take a lot more work, such as triathlon and TT bikes, cost more. I give an exact price once I have your list of bikes and models.
- Further roadside call-outs: 20 € + labour.
- Longer repairs during a visit: list price minus 10%.
- Travel to visits in zone 2: +15 €, in zone 3: +30 €. The group pays it once.
- Parts: inner tubes, tyres, pads, chains and so on.

Does the 35 € include bike assembly?
No. 35 € per rider covers a week of care: a Ride Check, 2 villa visits and one roadside call-out per rider. Assembly and packing cost from 45 € per bike for each, or from 80 € for both.
What exactly do you do during a villa visit?
I check every bike: tyre pressure, chain lube, gear and brake adjustment, and a check of pads, tyres and bolts. That is up to about 10 minutes of work per bike. Longer repairs I do during the same visit at list price minus 10%, with no separate travel fee.
What if someone has used their roadside call-out?
Each further call-out costs 20 € + labour. The included call-out is personal, so you can’t use someone else’s.

Will you come to a hotel instead of a villa?
Yes, it works the same way: one address and visits at an agreed time.
