Roadside assistance for your whole stay.
You are far from your hotel and on a climb you slash a tyre or snap your chain. With Ride Safe you message me on WhatsApp, I come out and fix your bike on the spot. If you can’t ride on, I take you and your bike back to where you are staying.
How does it work?
When something breaks.
Message me on WhatsApp
Send your location from WhatsApp and tell me what happened. A photo of the problem helps a lot.
I give you a real arrival time
I reply with when I’ll get there. Usually within 45 minutes, depending on where you are and whether I’m already helping someone else.
I fix it or take you back
Small problems I fix on the spot. If the bike can’t be fixed, I take you and your bike back to where you are staying.

What I come out for.
- A puncture with no spare tube, or a slashed tyre
- A broken chain
- A snapped cable or gears out of adjustment
- A flat Di2 or AXS battery
- A broken spoke or a buckled wheel
- A snapped derailleur hanger: I take you and your bike back and order the right hanger

Each extra day +6 €. Two riders at one address 75 €.

- One call-out with up to 20 minutes of labour: included in zone 1, +10 € in zone 2, +15 € in zone 3
- A lift for you and your bike if it can’t be fixed on the spot
- Further call-outs 25 € + labour, with the same zone surcharge

4–12 riders, one address
Team / Group
No surcharge in zone 1, zone 2 +15 €, zone 3 +30 € per villa visit, for the whole group. Each extra day +5 € per rider.

Terms
Good to know.
- An accident means 112
- If anyone is injured, call 112 first. Ride Safe covers bike breakdowns. Once the situation is under control, message me and I’ll take care of the bike.
- Hours
- Assistance runs every day from 8:00 to 18:00 Spanish time.
- Included call-out
- One call-out with up to 20 minutes of labour. No surcharge in zone 1, a 10 € surcharge in zone 2 and 15 € in zone 3.
- Further call-outs
- 25 € + labour. Parts are always extra.
- Arrival time
- I give it with every call. Usually within 45 minutes, not guaranteed, because it depends on distance.
- How many people can you take?
- One bike and one or two people per trip.
Does Ride Safe cover the whole Costa Blanca?
The included call-out covers zone 1: Pego, Oliva, El Verger, Orba and the valleys. In zone 2, for example Gandia, Xaló and Coll de Rates, the surcharge is 10 €, and in zone 3, for example Xeraco and Tàrbena, 15 €. That is less than the normal travel fee. Details are on the Area and travel page.

Two people at one address pay 75 € for 7 days of Ride Safe.
I’m staying longer than a week.
Each extra day of Ride Safe costs 6 €.
What if a part needs replacing?
I tell you the price of the part first and replace it once you agree. Parts are paid separately.
