About me

Hi, I’m Kamil.

I live in Pego and ride these roads all year. I know the climbs, the quiet roads and the cafés where cyclists stop, as well as the less obvious routes that hardly anyone explores. I carry my tools in the car and come to you.

Why Plan B?

Before I started Plan B, I spent about a year and a half as the manager of a cycling base in Pego. I was responsible for running the whole base: airport transfers, accommodation, groups, bike hire and bike servicing. I serviced our entire fleet myself.

A friend who runs a cycling hotel told me that guests from abroad kept asking for help: someone who comes out when they break down, helps with a puncture and suggests good routes. In Pego, Oliva and the valleys north of Dénia I couldn’t find a mechanic who comes to the client.

I don’t have a permanent workshop, so my service is mobile. I come to where you are staying and to wherever your bike broke down. Harder repairs I do in my home workshop.

What I know.

I’ve been into cycling since 2015. That year I started training for my first triathlon, and then I raced triathlon for the next eight years. I always serviced and built my own road and TT bikes myself.

I learned on my own bikes and my friends’ bikes, and for a while I ran a neighbourhood bike repair service in Łódź. After moving to Pego, I spent several weeks training under an experienced mechanic. After that I serviced the base’s fleet, helped clients whose bikes broke down on a ride, and helped locals who found their way to our workshop.

I work on almost every kind of bike: mountain, city, road, triathlon and electric. I’ve also done bigger jobs on e-bikes, such as replacing a motor.
